Relax in the walled cottage garden or open the gate and enjoy the magnificent views across the ha-ha to the sea from Y Popty's patio.

This cottage can be linked with Pentre Bach's Main House by a door at ground and another at first floor levels, if both properties are booked together.

Downstairs: Beamed sitting/diner with inglenook fireplace and cosy open fire; partially screened-off kitchen.

Upstairs: Two double bedrooms. 3rd bedroom with full-length, sturdy children's bunks; bath/shower & toilet.

There is so much to do in the area you could park your car and forget about it.

There are numerous walks from our doorstep up into the hills or down to the nearby beach.

Catch the train (which only stops by request!) and enjoy one of the most exhilarating rides along the coast, across the estuary to nearby Barmouth which has a beautiful harbour and miles of golden sand.

In the other direction a short drive takes you to Tywyn which also has a wonderful beach, or you can walk along to the famous Aberdovey championship golf course.

There are innumerable activities on offer nearby including hill walking, climbing, mountain biking, rallying, sailing, sea and course fishing, golf, pony trekking, sand yachting and tennis.

Mike and Wilma

Mike and Wilma are two fifty somethings who bought Pentre Bach in 2008 and have enjoyed welcoming hundreds of guests to our cottages over the past 4 years. We pride ourselves in the welcome we provide to guests with a very personal touch. We have made lots of improvements to the cottages including installing fire alarms, new kitchens, bathrooms and shower rooms. Recently we've upgraded the central heating and are in the process of having solar panels installed.
We have many more plans for more improvements in the future.
