This charming, 16th Century stone-built detached barn conversion lies in the grounds of the owner's historic farmhouse - often featured in Country Living Magazine. Situated on the slopes of the Cain Valley one mile from Llanfechain, this property is full of character. Original features include ceiling beams, exposed wall timbers and sloping roofs. With many walks and cycle paths nearby as well as the charming market towns of Welshpool and Oswestry, this wonderful cottage makes a great base for anyone looking to explore north Wales.

Activities

Surrounded by rolling hills and the lovely Berwyn Mountains, the charming village of Llanfechain nestles beside the banks of the River Cain deep in the scenic Cain Valley. The area of outstanding beauty is a wonderful backdrop to this quaint little settlement, home to St. Garmon's 12th Century Norman church. Primarily composed of stone-built black and white timber framed buildings, the village also boasts a welcoming traditional pub. The hills and Berwyn Mountains are renowned for their bird life and visitors can enjoy walking and cycling through the lovely scenery. For other bird watching opportunities, the spectacular Lake Vyrnwy is also nearby and hosts a fascinating nature reserve. For those who enjoy shopping and exploring a more urban environment, the market towns of Welshpool and Oswestry both boast an impressive array of shops, arts and crafts centres, pubs and restaurants.

				Low Season Price:	£264 per Week
				High Season Price:	£493 per Week

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday. Change Over
