Vacation Rental Description
Having been awarded with 5-stars, we believe the Glyn Y Coed to be one of the finest places to stay in Criccieth. Some of our bedrooms, our lounge, breakfast room and our patio garden overlook the sea. We provide a very healthy and tasty breakfast with plenty of choice. The meat used is from a local, award-winning butcher.
We are just a couple of minutes walk from the beach, shops, cafes and restaurants. A ten minute walk away from Criccieth Castle and Cadwalladers famous ice-cream shop - a must for the ice-cream lovers and the wonderful views from the cafe.
We have 10 rooms, offering a variety of beds - twin / double / four-poster / king size. Some of the rooms overlook the sea, castle and mountains. All include telephone, television, hair dryer and tea making facilities. All rooms have an en-suite - fully tiled, shower or bath/shower room with soap, towels, shampoo, body lotion etc. Our family room has a king size bed, bunk beds and sofa lounge area with tv / videos and games for the children.
We also have a ground floor annex room with private access, twin beds and a shower.
We are delighted that, as well as 5-stars from Visit Wales, we have also been awarded with 4 'Red Diamonds' from the AA (awarded to the top 10% only), a Sparkling Diamond Award (for cleanliness) from the RAC and the Gold Host Award from the Welsh Tourist Board.
The south facing patio garden, overlooking the sea, is the ideal place to unwind with a refreshing drink as you watch the world go by. We close for Christmas and new year between the 21st dec to 7th Jan.
