Vacation Rental Description

A warm welcome awaits you at Glandwr, the annexe to our farmhouse situated in a beautiful area ideal for walkers, nature lovers, bird watchers and artists. We are surrounded by castles, lakes, mountains and market towns. Pony trekking and fly fishing are within easy reach, there is a swimming pool, squash court and tennis courts at Llandovery,our local market town, (8 miles), and the coast is around 45 minutes drive away. The National Botanic Garden of Wales is nearby as is Aberglasney - 'The Garden Lost in Time'. Llandeilo (12 miles) has become a stylish place to shop.

Glandwr stands in lawned grounds with a trout stream running through. There is abundant birdlife and down the lane you will find our ponds and bird hide. You are welcome to walk round our 14 acres which afford beautiful views of neighbouring hills and valleys.

The annexe is cosy and centrally heated and all the accommodation is on the ground floor. All heating, electricity, gas and wood for the wood-burning stove are included in the rental. Also, towels, bedlinen and duvets are, of course, provided free of charge. We have many return visitors. Sorry, no pets.

Glandwr, situated near Llanwrda, (half way between Carmarthen and Brecon)is a quiet place to unwind and enjoy the peace of the Welsh countryside but is within easy reach of all that Carmarthenshire has to offer - country pubs, history, beaches, shopping, and outdoor life. We are also close to the Brecon Beacons for wonderful walking opportunities and a 30 minute drive from the lovely Gower peninsular.

The apartment is centrally heated.

The sitting room is large with a fully equipped kitchen area at one end. You will also find a wood-burning stove and videos for cosy evenings in.

The bathroom has a bath and a separate shower.

The south-facing sun lounge and private patio with garden furniture are favourite places to relax.

Parking is adjacent to the house and very secluded.

Low Season Price : £200
High Season Price : £300 per Week
Bookings normally Saturday to Saturday but with a little flexibility in low season.

A deposit of £50 per week is requested, the balance payable on arrival.

Please remember to have cancellation insurance - for your peace of mind and ours.

Breaks of 3 nights or 4 nights are available at
reasonable rates.
