Vacation Rental Description
This friendly family run Guest House is situated in the centre of Brechfa village, in the very picturesque Cothi Valley, at the edge of Brechfa Forest. Rooms are en-suite or have private facilities. All rooms have tea/coffee making facilities, colour TV and a safe. There is ample parking at rear of house and secure storage for mountain bikes etc. We offer bikers - bike wash facilities, safe and secure storage and drying facilities. We have our own licenced bar and can offer good home cooked evening meals as well as wholesome breakfasts in our conservatory dining room. There is a good sized patio, which is now under cover so that you will be able to sit outside whatever the weather. 
 
From Glasfryn you will be able to take various lovely country walks, to suit your ability. Brechfa Forest provides some challenging mountian bike trails as well as being good for walkers and birdwatchers. Birdwatchers will find not only garden birds but they may also see Buzzard and Red Kite and Sparrowhawk. There is fishing for trout, Salmon and Sewin on the Cothi and Towi.  
 
We are ideally situated for touring, Mid, South and West Wales. Cardigan Bay, the Cambrian Mountains, Brecon Beacons and the South Coast of Wales are all within and hours drive away. Carmarthenshire has many castles and heritage sites. Dylan Thomas's Boathouse at Laugharne, Roman Goldmines at Dolaucothi & National Botanic Gardens of Wales are a short drive away. There are many beautiful beaches within easy reach as well as a motor racing circuit and racecourse. There are numerous tourist attractions for all ages and abilities. 
 
The local train station is only 20 minutes drive away, which can take you to all parts of the uk. Ideal for the Olympic Games in 2012.
