As soon as you arrive at Hinton Lodge, you will feel you have escaped to a slower pace of life. Situated in a country lane you are away from busy roads and traffic yet close to rail and road connections for Bath, Bristol and London.

Hinton Lodge is quintessentially English which simply oozes character and is on one level, so it is perfect for families with young children. They can enjoy seeing the rabbits jumping through the grass and feed Magic, our beautiful horse; you can sit in the garden and enjoy the views!

For a romantic getaway, or your honeymoon, Hinton Lodge provides a peaceful idyll and you can walk to the famous Linnet Pub in the nearby village, which is renowned for great food and wine.

In Winter you can light the log fire, which all our guests say is a wonderful feature of staying at Hinton Lodge. There is also full central heating, to ensure you are warm in the cooler months of the year and Winter guests enjoy the atmosphere. Our library of DVDs will keep you entertained on rainy days.

We aim to make you welcome as soon as you arrive and you will find a welcome hamper of some essentials, including a bottle of wine in the fridge. Sundries such as loo rolls, dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid is also supplied.

There are a multitude of things to do from Hinton Lodge.
Hinton Lodge is conveniently located amidst a wide range of attractive places of interest and heritage sites such as:
World heritage stone circle sites of Stonhenge and Avebury.
City of Bath with the Roman Baths and its beautiful architecture.
City of Salisbury with its beautiful cathedral.
An array of small picturesque towns and villages such as Bradford-on-Avon, Castle Coombe, Lacock, Marlborough (don't miss Polly's Tea Room) etc.
Longleat House, gardens, safari and children attractions provides a fantastic day out for the whole family. Children can't get enough of it!

If you are more of an outdoor type, you could always:
GO gliding at the Bannerdown gliding club during the weekends.
GO cycling on the Wiltshire Cycle Way - 2 adult bicycles are available for hire at Hinton Lodge.
GO walking on the White Horse Way.
GO cruising on the Kennet and Avon Canal.

Sitting Room: open fire, large windows overlooking countryside
Dining room: seating for 4 people - high chair provided

Outdoors:
Outside, there is parking for two cars on the driveway and a secluded enclosed sunny garden with BBQ, table and chairs. The private enclosed garden is ideal for families with young children.

Two adult bikes are available on request. For those requiring a little more challenging rides, Salisbury plain is nearby.

High Season Price : £600 per Week

NB: Prices may be subject to change at the owner's discretion.
A deposit of one third of the rental fee is payable if the booking is made more than 8 weeks before the start of the rental. The balance shall be payable 7 weeks before the commencement of the rental. Non-payment of the balance of the rent on or before the due date shall be construed as a cancellation of the contract by the client. For bookings made less than 2 weeks before the commencement of the rental the total fee is payable on sending the Booking Form.
Payment can be made by cheque in £sterling from a UK bank, debit or credit card or bank transfer.
