Vacation Rental Description
Lower Hedge Farm is a fabulous big group house in the Somerset countryside. Situated at the end of a lane, down a private track, it offers the opportunity to chill out in a peaceful, rural setting, yet enjoy full-on modern comforts and style. An exciting range of extra services are available on the farm's website, which you can arrange at the time of booking. These include chef hire, cider tasting, cycle hire, flower arranging lessons, fishing, massages and personal training.
The house and grounds have been completely refurbished and renovated during a six year project. Original features such as wooden beams, inglenook fireplaces, an old bread oven and enormous flagstones have all been preserved, whilst bringing the property up to 2010 standards.
The magnificent sun room is the most exciting addition, with its high beamed ceilings, underfloor heating and large, centrepiece fireplace. There are five bedrooms altogether, one of which is a long attic room that easily accommodates four single beds, fun for teenagers or younger children.
Being gently massaged in the hot tub under the stars, surrounded by unspoilt countryside, is one of the greatest treats here. Other appealing features include the table tennis and pool table, large plasma TV, the Nintendo Wii and the designer kitchen, complete with oil-heated Aga and granite work surfaces.
