This lovely property is attached to the owner’s home in the village of Batcombe, and offers comfortable accommodation for two people.

This is a cosy property, offering a high standard of accommodation. Comfortably furnished, the living area is open plan with a fitted kitchen and a breakfast bar as well as a sitting area with a stone floor, giving the property a contemporary feel. The light and airy double bedroom is a calm and restful place with a tranquil atmosphere and the promise of a peaceful night. There is also an en-suite shower room, making this cottage an idyllic spot for a romantic break. Outside there is a private decked area with garden furniture and a further shared lawn. There is a shop three and a half miles away and a pub within half a mile.

Activities

The little village of Batcombe is situated in the valley of the River Alham in East Somerset, and on the edge of the Mendip Hills. Located three and a half miles from the bustling town of Bruton, the area is designated as one of Outstanding Natural Beauty and has many walks and villages to explore. A short drive away are the inspiring house and gardens at Stourhead and the majestic Longleat House with its safari park whilst a trip to Glastonbury allows visitors to soak up the ancient heritage of the town. A little further away are the cathedrals of Wells and Salisbury along with Stonehenge and even a jaunt to the Somerset and Dorset coasts are possible. This is a lovely area for a holiday with a difference, at any time of year.

				Low Season Price:	£218 per Week
				High Season Price:	£373 per Week

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday. Change Over
