Vacation Rental Description
Woodlands Farmhouse combines the heritage and charm of an historic old dairy farm with the style and chic of 21st century living. It has seven bedrooms (one of which is on the ground floor) and sleeps 14 very comfortably.
The house was completely renovated and refurbished over two years, using fine craftsmen to restore features such as the inglenook fireplaces, old bread oven and original flagstones. Whilst preserving the old, time has been spent incorporating the best of modern comforts, including a hot tub seating eight, a cinema room, wet room showers and a bespoke designer kitchen.
A large group taking over the house have plenty of space in which to thoroughly chill out and relax. You could take the dog for a long walk around the farm's private land (100 acres in all), before unwinding in the massaging hot tub with a chilled glass of champagne, for example. There's a game room with pool table, a children's swing and slide play area, a Nintendo Wii and a library of films to watch on large screen TVs.
The grounds are big enough to hold a marquee if you are planning a special party during your stay. You can also arrange various exciting holiday extras at the time of booking. There's a visiting chef, for example, a personal trainer, various pampering treatments, fishing, flower arranging, cider tasting, bicycle hire and more.
