Lower Sellicks is a comfortable cottage in a small village within Exmoor National Park. It has four bedrooms two of which are downstairs, and two bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs. 
The cottage has been let as a holiday cottage since 2005 and has proved to be very popular with visitors, many coming back. The accommodation lends itself well to extended family groups and there is enough space for families to be together but also room for them to do their own thing! 
The cottage is also really great for walking groups - you can walk for half an hour or all day from the cottage without taking the car out and with it is quite easy to plan walks with pubs part way round. 
The garden is really delightful with a steam running through. It is quite large and there is space for children to play and adults to sit and relax and listen to the sound of the water running over the stones. 
NOTE: weekly bookings are Friday to Friday 
No smoking is permitted inside the cottage.

 Large sitting room with wood-burning stove, TV, DVD player and comfortable seating (including a futon convertible to a double bed).  Second well-furnished sitting room with TV, wood-burning stove and access to garden.  Dining room seats 10.  Well-equipped kitchen overlooking the garden. Electric cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine/dryer.  Two downstairs bedrooms, one double, one twin.  Two upstairs bedrooms, both twins.  Two bathrooms, upstairs has bath and toilet, downstairs has showerbath with electric shower and separate toilet.  Off road parking for up to 4 cars.  Delightful and well cared for garden with lots of scope for relaxing (plenty of garden furniture) and playing - our own children particularly enjoyed splashing in the stream.  Abundance of books, maps and guides for visitors to borrow.  Logs, coal and electricity included in price.  Bed linen provided

 Cottage is well located in peaceful Exmoor village.  
 Pub with friendly welcome and good food, a shop/post office and a children's play area all within few minutes walk.  
 Footpaths criss-crossing the area pass close to the cottage.  
 If you feel like a change from relaxing at the cottage there is a huge range of attractions available locally. The coast is just a few miles away with accessible beaches. The walking is fantastic. There are historical villages and properties to explore plus steam trains, museums, animal, theme and adventure parks. It's difficult to get bored here!!!

Deposit of 25% required on booking with balance payable 6 weeks before the holiday. Payments can be made by cheque or bank transfer. SHORT BREAKS AVAILABLE from £195 for 2 night stay
