Vacation Rental Description

Avondale Riverside is a refurbished coach house accommodating up 8/10 people, located on the Eastern approach to Bath it is 10-15 mins by car from Bath centre or 30mins by boat from Bathampton. There are good local shops in Batheaston village and regular bus services connect with the centre of Bath. the accommodation stands in its own grounds with a south facing garden,riverside views from the balcony and windows. Visitors have their own private entrance with secured parking and private courtyard. the apartments are centrally heated and all bed linen & towels are provided. All fixtures and fittings are of a high standard including widescreen hd TV, DVD and Hi Fi. There are several good pubs close by and a fish and chip shop. In house catering can be arranged for dinner parties or buffets on request. A good location for sightseeing in Bath City - the Roman Baths, Crescents and new Thermae Spa Baths ( vouchers available ) also close by attractions for all the family such as Longleat Safari Park, the Cotswolds, Cheddar Gorge and Stonehenge. Weekend breaks and Spa breaks available. Hen parties also welcome. Celebration weekends our speciality, have your own chef cook and wait on you or have a pampering session in complete privacy. Great discounts for mid week bookings or couples.

There are two kitchens both equipped with dishwasher, microwave, oven etc. The courtyard provides secure private parking for up to 3 cars. Shopping can be ordered prior to your arrival. One bathroom has a whirlpool bath. the Hot Tub is located just off the courtyard. A welcome pack is provided. New linen and towels provided for stays of over one week in duration. There is a supply of dvds and cds in the apartments also reading material and local information.

Several Tennis courts in Bath centre and one within a short drive. Wide range of golf courses some open to the general public. Bristol has a Zoo and there are several Farm and wildlife parks. Nearest large supermarket is a 5 min drive form the accommodation. Wide choice of International restaurants in the City and several pubs close by.
The local countryside provides ample choice for those wishing to hike or ramble. There are opportunities for both course and fly fishing in the area. Pleasure boats operate throughout the Summer season from Bathampton into the centre of Bath. The Theatre Royal has a lot of pre West End productions and stage shows, there are many concerts and other cultural events in the City. For children there is a leisure centre, museums and Victoria Park has an excellent secure childs playground, as well as a lake and botanical garden.

Travel Info: Avondale Riverside has good connections for transport both by car & bus. The bus runs from a few steps outside the gate at regular intervals right into the City. By car it takes approximately 6 mins depending on traffic conditions. The relaxing way into the City is by boat from the village of Bathampton a 3 min drive from the apartments.
