Whitminster is a small village 10 miles south of the city of Gloucester. It is close the the motorway, about six miles from railway stations and 40 miles from Bristol airport.  
The village boasts a Chinese take-away and restaurant, an Indian take-away and restaurant, a fish and chip shop and a characteristic 16th century village pub, owned by Carolyn and Graham.
