Vacation Rental Description
Burrows Court offers self-catering accommodation in a fascinating three-storey building consisting of a Georgian-fronted mill-owners house believed to date back to the 13th century. The entire building is now grade II listed and, while offering a high standard of comfort, has lost none of its unique character. The house adjoins the weaving-mill which is occupied by the owners. 
The accommodation comprises: 
Ground floor: Entrance hall with stairs to first floor. 
Kitchen-diner – kitchen area with electric cooker, fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, dishwasher and radio-cd player. Table with seating for 10 (+2) 
Lounge with sofa and chairs providing seating for 10+, widescreen tv with Freeview, dvd-player.  
Laundry room with washing-machine, tumble-dryer, iron and ironing board. 
WC. 
First floor: Landing with stairs to second floor. 
3 double bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities, colour tv, alarm-clock radio and hairdryer. 
Second floor: 1 twin-bedded room.1 family room with a double bed and two single beds. Both rooms have en-suite bathrooms, colour tv, alarm-clock radio and hairdryer. 
There is a high-chair and 3 stair-gates but guests must provide travel cots/cot-bedding. 
Please note that smoking is not allowed inside the building. 
Outside: Large un-enclosed garden to the front of the property with seating, tables and barbecue. Spacious car-park. There is a water-course with a footbridge over between the garden and the car-park so children should be supervised at all times. There is a small parking area immediately in front of the building for setting-down/picking-up 
NB: the grounds to the side and rear of the property are for sole use of the owners. 
Due to the nature of the building, Burrows Court is not suitable for people unable to climb at least one flight of stairs. 
The setting of Burrows Court is one of its most attractive features. The garden is surrounded by open countryside with beautiful views of the Cotswold Edge. Nibley Green, about half a mile from the picturesque village of North Nibley, is a tranquil hamlet despite its historic connections! It was the site in 1470, of the last battle in England between the private armies of Lord Lisle and Lord Berkeley. Berkeley Castle itself is nearby together with Slimbridge Wildfowl Trust and many other places of interest including 2 local golf courses.  
Burrows Court is within easy reach of Junctions 13 and 14 of the M5 making it ideally situated for get-togethers of family/friends.

    • All bedlinen and towels provided. Electricity and heating included in price. One pet allowed per booking at a cost of £15.00 per week or part week. Set at the edge of the beautiful South Cotswolds. Ideally situated for visits to the south Cotswold villages, Westonbirt Arboretum, Slimbridge Wildfowl and Wetlands Centre and Berkeley Castle. The historic cities of Bristol, Bath, Cheltenham or Gloucester are about 40 mins away by car. Burrows Court is close to the Cotswold Way. There is ample parking. Garden furniture and barbecue available.

    7 night breaks from £834 to £1665 dependent on time of year. 3/4 night breaks £627 to £1248 dependent on time of year. 7 night breaks commence Fri (possibly Mon by mutual agreement). 3 night weekend breaks begin Fri. 4 night midweek breaks commence Mon. Cheltenham Gold Cup 4 night break (14 - 17 Mar incl.) £942. 1 pet per booking - £20 per week/part week. Deposit of one third due at time of booking. Balance due 8 weeks before start of break. Cancellation more than 56 days before start of break = loss of deposit. Cancellation less than 56 days before start of break = loss of full cost of holiday unless property can be relet when deposit only will be lost. Suitable insurance advised. A refundable security deposit of £200 against damage is payable in the form of a separate cheque which should accompany the final payment.
