A fully inclusive non smoking self catering apartment with spectacular sea and coastal views around Lyme Bay to Portland Bill.It is set in a quiet residential area nestling in the hillside of westcliff.Charmouth forms part of the Jurassic coast and has World Heritage Site recognition.Charmouth village has an assortment of shops which include a mini-market,butcher,baker,hairdresser,post office,newsagents,fish and chip shop,cafe,2 churches and 2 pubs should you wish to wet your whistle or let your hair down a little.Charmouth beach is about a ten minute walk away,here the Jurassic coast heritage centre is well worth a visit (entry is free)where one can handle fossils that inhabited our oceans 175 million years ago.There is a regular bus service, and a main line railway station at Axminster some 7 miles distance.Lyme Regis is only a short drive away (10 minutes approx.)with its ancient harbour The Cobb which starred in the film "The French Lieutenants Woman."It also boasts a golf course,cinema,theatre,museum and an assortment of shops restaurants and pubs.Further photos are available of Stonehayes by email request.Although Stonehayes is on the ground floor it is not suitable for wheelchairs or children under 12years.We the owners Bob & Pat Gillam live on the property so if there is a problem we can put it right so as not to spoil your holiday.
