Four bedrooms – 2 double, 1 twin, 1 single. One double is on the ground-floor next to a bathroom - ideal for those who prefer to avoid stairs.
Log fire, television, DVD and hi-fi in living room; Aga (and ordinary electric cooker) in kitchen; Antique refectory table in dining room; Wendy house in garden; and a funky master bathroom.
Situated on edge of a friendly village with farm shop and pub-restaurant, in the country of Hardy novels, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, just off the Wessex Ridgeway path, set in gentle hills.
The coast, ancient abbeys and castles, wonderful gardens, lovely old towns, and even a tank museum are all within a half hour drive.
* Greygles is old Dorset for bluebells. In Spring they abound in the local woods.

This is a well-equipped property throughout which also includes a Wendy House in the garden to delight young children, an antique refectory table in the dining room, and a funky master bathroom with a free-standing bathtub.
With 4 bedrooms, it is set up for 7 people but an extra Z-bed can be provided for an extra person if necessary. One double is on the groundfloor with adjacent bathroom and toilet.
For infants, there are 2 cots and a high chair.
Linen is provided and cleaning is included in the price.

Greygles is set on the edge of a quiet village in the middle of rural Dorset. So it is wonderful for walking/hiking the gentle hills of the region.
But of course there is a wealth of other attractions. Within half an hour's drive is the dramatic Jurassic Coast, Weymouth where the 2012 Olympics sailing events will be held, a series of lovely old towns, gardens, abbeys, Iron Age hill forts, and attractions which include an ancient Swannery, Monkey House, Butterfly Kingdom and even a Tank Museum.

- Travel Info: By car - Greygles and the whole of Dorset are mercifully distant from motorways and trunk roads but nonetheless easily accessible. Around 2 ½ hours drive from London or 3 hours from the Midlands.
And once there, delightful towns like Dorchester, Blandford Forum and Sherborne are only 15-25 minutes away. Anywhere on the coast between Lulworth and Abbotsbury, including Weymouth, the Olympic sailing venue, is about 30 minutes' drive.
By public transport, there are trains to Dorchester and then bus or taxi to Melcombe Bingham.
By plane, Heathrow is the nearest large airport but Southampton (50 miles) and Bournemouth (30 miles) also offer international flights.
