Vacation Rental Description

Acorn Cottage provides the opportunity to enjoy the peace of the Piddle Valley, explore the history generated by the Tolpuddle Martyrs, Lawrence of Arabia, and Queen Victoria's visit to Athelhampton House as well as the romance of Thomas Hardy novels. There is plenty to enjoy locally with footpaths, bridleways, forest & riverside walks virtually on the doorstep. Dorset's magnificent beaches, coves, coastal paths and ancient sites are just a little further afield. Dorchester is some seven miles to the south-west and the seaside town of Weymouth is just fifteen miles away.
