Vacation Rental Description
Spacious detached bungalow 15 minutes walk to sea. The bungalow has 3 double bedrooms with double bed in one room and 2 single beds in the other two rooms. 2 of the bedrooms are downstairs. We have a travel cot. The lounge has leather sofa and 2 armchairs, 37"TV, DVD player. Kitchen has built in electric cooker and gas hob, washing machine, microwave, kettle and toaster. The dining area has pine table and 6 chairs. There is additional sofa and TV in extension. The downstairs bathroom has a new walkin shower cubical, toilet and sink. Upstairs there is a new 2nd bathroom with cornerbath, toilet and sink. It has gas central heating. Off road parking, the garden is on 3 sides of the property. There is a bench and patio table and 6 chairs with parasol. There are 2 pubs/restaurants within 500 yards along with local grocery shop. There are additional restaurants, banks and shops less than 1 mile away. It only takes 2/3 minutes to drive to the sea. We are on edge of new forest. Bournemouth is about 8 miles away. There are lots of golf courses around here. Sorry no pets. No smoking.

Highcliffe Castle is a Grade 1 listed Georgian mansion which was built by Lord Stuart de Rothesay and remains today with its two entrance lodges being used as a restaurant.

In celebration of the 50th year of James Bond films, a new exhibit of James Bond vehicles is opening Jan. 17, 2012 at the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, Brockenhurst, Hampshire, U.K. The exhibit include 50 vehicles--both Bond- and villain-driven. Several of the vehicles, such as the Ford Mustang Mach 1 from "Diamonds Are Forever," villain Zukovsky's Rolls Royce Silver Shadow II from "The World Is Not Enough," and the vintage 1962 Rolls Royce, pushed into a lake by May Day and Zorin with Bond still inside, in "A View to a Kill," have never been on public display. In addition to the cars, the museum will have other Bond movie props, including a Union Jack parachute, a surfboard loaded with concealed weapons, and the Casino Royale Skyfleet S570 model, based on a Boeing 747. The National Motor Museum at Beaulieu hosts a permanent collection of more 250 vehicles. The Bond vehicle collection will be on display through December 2012.
The Alice in Wonderland Family Park features one of Europe's largest hedge mazes and is the perfect place to enjoy a unique day out for families with younger children.

There is a summer house in garden. All the garden is flat.
Activities
Coast/Beach: 15 minutes walk to sea, 3 mins by car. The nearest beach is mixture of sand and stone. On left side of beach it is mainly sandy and the right side is mainly stoney. mudiford and bournemouth beaches are sandy which are about 10 minutes drive by car.
Golf: 1 mile to Highcliff. 3 miles to Barton on sea. then you have Brockenhurst, Ferndown, Meyrick Park, Broadstone, Queens Park all nearby. There are lots of others as well.
