Vacation Rental Description
Burwood Lodge is 2 minutes stroll to the village centre, with local shops, restaurants, cafe's and pubs. The open forest is no more than 10 minutes away which makes this the idea location for walkers, cyclists and families. It is also ideal for those wishing to relax and enjoy the countyside. There are many local attractions which includes Beaulieu Motor Museum, Bucklers Hard, Exbury Gardens and many many more. Why not take the tour bus which has a cycle trailer and offers hop on hop off facilities.
Facilities

Burwood Lodge is a small family run business which offers a homely feel with hotel standards. All room are en-suite with TV, Hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilites. We have a ground floor room with twin beds and this room has been specially adapted to accommodate the less able. The guest lounge has just been refurbished and has Wifi connection for the guest use. Soon to be erected is a drying room and cycle store which will also offer washing facilities for dirty boots or clothes.

    • Paulton Park offers a fun day out for the family and is approx 10-15 minutes away in the car. Lyndhurst has it's own tennis courts and Golf course but other courses are near by. The Owl and Otter centre is approximately 10-15 minutes in the car and is close to Longdown Dairy Farm which offers farm animals and has a ball pit, cafe and gift shop. The village of Lyndhurst has many shops, restaurants, cafe and pubs and is 2 minutes stroll from Burwood Lodge. Water sports including sailing can be fround at Lymington, Calshot and Beaulieu river which are all approximately 20 minutes in the car from Lyndhurst. Skiing, snowboarding, rock climbing, archery and many more sports facilities can be found at Calshot. There are many bike hire facilites around the forest and one is based in Lyndhurst being approx 5 minutes walk from Burwood Lodge. Cinema, Theatre and night clubs can be found in Southampton. Horsering is nearby - 10 minutes.

    Burwood Lodge charge £38.00 per person per night with children charged at between £15-£25 depending on age. This charge includes breakfast. We have a minimum age of 6 years for children. A deposit of £50 is required to secure a room via cheque made payable to Burwood Lodge. 48 hours notice is required to cancel a room.
