Vacation Rental Description
This delightful self catering cottage, in the heart of Devon, offers peace and quiet away from the road. Named after the otter seen pilfering the carp pond one morning, otter cottage has a fenced garden and glorious viewes over the farm and to Dartmoor. Our free-range hens often cluck around the door (no cockrell!). Watch out for the kingfisher by the pond. A woodburning stove makes the living area particularly cosy. In the kitchen you'll find oven and hob, microwave and fridge freezer. There are electric (renewable energy) radiators up and downstairs.  
Upstairs, the double room looks out of the ponds. There's a twin room, and bathroom with over-bath shower, toilet and basin. 
Enjoy the farm with it's private nature reserve. There are free farm bicycles to borrow and coarse fishing in the pond. Dogs are welcome.

    • Guests can use the local tennis courts for £2 per session. There are Golf courses nearby (nearest 4 miles). Great local walks and cycles rides. The village pub is highly rated for food and friendly atmosphere. A nearby (4 miles) riding stable is very popular. Dartmoor (12 miles) is accessable and wonderful for outdoors activities.

    We charge 20% non-refundable deposit to secure the booking. You are required to pay the balance of the rental charge six weeks before your holiday, (or immediately if you book within six weeks of your arrival). If you cancel your booking between 6 and 4 weeks before your arrival date, we will refund half the balance you have paid. If we manage to re-let the accommodation for the same dates, we'll refund the other half of your balance. We do not refund the deposit. If you need to cancel with less than four weeks notice, we will attempt to re-let the accommodation for the same dates, and if we are successful we will refund your payment, less the deposit. If we cannot re-let the accommodation, all money paid will be forfeited. Therefore, we recommend you take out cancellation insurance because we'd hate for you to have to pay for a holiday you didn't get.
