Although it is brand new, the design and atmosphere of the West Wing Cottage is reminiscent of the languid atmosphere of the gorgeously decadent 1920s. Oak trim from the owner's private estate in Carmarthenshire, quarter-sawn American oak wide plant flooring in the living area, blonde maplewood flooring specially imported from Canada in the bedrooms together with bathrooms courtesy of Sanitan, purveyors of some of the finest fixtures available in the world today, combine to make this a property a seafront delight.  
 
Combined with the serenely peaceful position, gardens and lawns extending out towards the sea, the attention to detail in West Wing Cottage will make you want to return again and again. Long lazy summer days gazing out over the water, croquet on the lawn, picnics at the water's edge and fishing off the rocks. Sit out on the lookout at sunset with a glass of wine and watch the sky and the sea light up with spectacular colours. Summer weekends often see a regatta in the bay with drifts of sailboats dotting the water. In the winter months the sun rises low over to the south-east producing some of the most beautiful sunrises with the colours in the sky reflected on the water. 
 
The open-plan living area is light and airy with tall ceilings and French doors opening out on to a flagstone terrace and steps leading down on to the lawns. It features a dining table for four, a top quality hugely comfortable American style sofa and armchairs from which to enjoy the views overlooking the garden. With luxury furnishing including heirloom style furniture and a grandfather clock, every comfort has been considered.  
 
The living room is the ideal place to sit down with a good book, enjoy a movie on the 32" flat-screen TV/DVD or listen to some favourite music on the sound system. With the French doors flung open and the sound of the sea drifting in, you will feel instantly relaxed in your exclusive holiday hideaway. Ensure a perfect night's sleep in either of the two master bedrooms with 18" thick, sumptuous pillow top mattresses and 400 thread count cotton sateen luxury linens. If travelling with friends or family, solve that age old problem of who has the best bedroom - they are both superb and it is hard to choose one over the other.  
 
Climb the wrought iron spiral stairway, with 3" thick oak treads crafted with oak harvested from the owner's private estate in Carmarthenshire, leading to the first floor landing. Upstairs, huge antique cast iron radiators rescued from the big house allow for plenty of warmth. To the left is the first master bedroom, featuring fantastic views across the gardens and out to sea. Take morning tea on the Juliet balcony outside the French windows, which flood wonderful natural light into the room. The bedroom benefits from a 5ft wide queen-sized bed, topped by a supremely comfortable mattress that all but guarantees you a perfect night’s sleep. This room features a Bishopsgate sleigh bed, a traditional dresser and has all the storage room you could need, including a walk-in closet. The large antique style mirror in the adds to the light and airy atmosphere and there is a 32" flat screen TV and private en-suite bathroom.
