The Old Fishing Hut at the Price of Peace is a Scandinavian log cabin, newly built in 2008 and nestles quietly on the bank of the river Torridge near Hatherleigh in the heart of Devon. This ideal location is a haven for bird watchers with an abundance of wildlife including badgers, foxes, deer,the beautiful kingfisher and otters. It cabin is surrounded by the gardens of the Price of Peace and farmland with river frontage. It also makes an ideal touring destination for those wishing to discover Devon, West Cornwall and East Somerset and Dorset. Sit on the veranda or decking with your glass of wine or cup of coffee and just watch the wonders of the river in this beautiful location.  
The cabin accommodation consists of one laarge double bedroom, bathroom with shower over bath, kitchen/lounge/diner, private entrance, decking and veranda. Ample off road parking. 
We also offer bed and breakfast in the main house with 3 letting rooms.. all en-suite, dining room, lounge and veranda.

If the booking is cancelled within 28 days of the hire starting date and we are unable to re-let the cabin there will be no refund of any part of the hire fee. Holiday cancellation insurance is recommended.
