Mill Cottage is an attractive stone cottage on the Colmer Country Estate which consists of a carefully restored 18th century house and converted farm buildings.  
 
The estate has 28 acres of its own beautiful and peaceful private grounds which include full access to woodlands, a private fishing lake and meadows. 
 
Situated in the former old mill at Colmer, Mill Cottage has recently undergone complete restoration and is immaculately furnished throughout and extremely well equipped. With views of the outdoor pool from the rear and perfectly situated for the many leisure activities on site.

    • Bigbury Bay. When the tide is high there is still a lot of clean, soft sand, but as it ebbs there are many exciting rock-pools and vast expanses of superb sand. You also get to come back from Burgh Island on the sea tractor! If you enjoy windsurfing, kitesurfing or bodyboarding this beach is for you. 
     
    Dartmoor  
    Dartmoor National Park covers around 369 square miles of open moorland, rocky tors and hidden river valleys. Walk along some of the hundreds of miles of public rights of way, climb the majestic tors which rise high above the moor, and experience the view across miles of rolling Devon countryside.  
     
    The Round Robin trip 
    By boat, ferry, steam train and open-top double decker bus. You can pick this up at Totnes or Dartmouth. There is also a steam train from Buckfastleigh to Totnes with a vintage bus connection.

    Provisional reservations can be accepted by telephone or email and must be confirmed within 5 working days with deposit of one third of the total holiday price. Once confirmation of the booking has been issued by the Owner, the Hirer is responsible for the total advertised price shown on the booking form. The balance of the total rent is due 60 days prior to arrival, together with a Security Deposit of £100.00 Any cancellation must be in writing. The deposit is then forfeited and the hirer remains, as stated in Paragraph 2 liable for the full balance of hire. Should the cottage be re-let, the balance will normally be refunded less a charge for any additional expenses incurred. Well behaved pets are acceptable at a cost of £30 per week but are restricted to the ground floor only.
