Vacation Rental Description

Originally part of the farmhouse, Millstones is ideally suited to family get-togethers, or several families holidaying together. The enormous kitchen is ideal for catering for a large group. The large, well-equipped farmhouse kitchen with oil-fired Rayburn, electric range cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier has an enormous table, ideal for spending a few hours around eating or just talking.
There is an original flag-stoned snooker room with 3/4 size snooker table. Millstones is heated by a combination of oil-fired rayburn partial central heating, some Night Storage Heating, some panel heaters and an open log fire in the lounge.

We have some excellent amenities here at Northway. The indoor swimming pool, 30 foot by 15 foot is a great hit with everyone. It is warm and light with wonderful views over Bideford Bay. There are spacious changing facilities, toilets and showers and seats for non swimmers. We also have, alongside the pool a Hot Tub spa which seats up to four people. A wonderful way to relax after those country/coastal walks. There is a fitness room containing a running machine, exercise bike and rowing machine. This is open 24 hours, every day to anyone over sixteen years. The Games Room is a large purpose built room housing all you need to entertain yourselves and the children on holiday. Table tennis ( bats and balls provided ), table football and a pool table provide plenty of opportunity for some family tournaments. There is a small play area reserved for toddlers.
We also have an extensive range of popular board games, videos and books you can borrow. Not forgetting the amenities nature provides us with. Northway has well tended extensive grounds which you can enjoy where there is room to just sit and relax or have a kick about or game of boules. And then on our very doorstep we have beautiful walks, short or long, where you can enjoy the spectacular views and wildlife. Being designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty there is every chance you will see flowers or birds you have not seen before or certainly not for a long time.

Marina is qualified in a wide range of treatments, aromatherapy, reflexology, remedial massage etc and will treat you in the privacy of your own cottage, helping you to really feel the benefit of a relaxing holiday.

A 25% deposit is required at booking time, balance due 8 weeks prior to start of holiday. Payment can be by Cheque, or Credit/Debit Card/BACs. For your peace of mind, we are fully PCI DSS Compliant (Credit Card industry Data Security Standard) and registered with HSBC Plc. Please note that there is a surcharge of 2.5% for credit cards, but there is no fee for debit cards or BACs. In the event of a cancellation, you should notify us as soon as you are aware of the circumstances leading to the cancellation. If you cancel NOT LESS THAN 10 WEEKS before your start date we will retain your deposit only and will refund this if/when the cottage re-books. Any cancellations notified later than this will leave you liable for the balance. We will of course endeavour to re-book, but in the event we are unable to do this you are responsible for the full amount.
