Bigbury-on-Sea lies within the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and has stunning views acorss the beaches of Bigbury, Bantham and across to Hope Cove. Close by there is an 18 hole Golf Course with views of the moors and sea in all directions. Linked to Bigbury-on-Sea by a short sandspit which is covered at high tide is Burgh Island where famous guests of the beautiful Art Deco hotel include Agatha Christie, The Beatles and Noel Coward who visited the hotel, intending to stay three days and ended up staying three weeks!
