Vacation Rental Description
Our lodge is located within Honicombe Manor, which is a peaceful holiday village in the Tamar Valley, an area of outstanding natural beauty.
The lodge has an "upside-down" arrangement, with bedrooms and bathrooms downstairs.
On the first floor there is a spacious lounge with two large settees, (one a bed settee), a dining table which expands to take six and dining chairs to match.
French windows lead from the lounge to a small south-facing balcony.
Also on this floor there is a well fitted kitchen with electric cooker, microwave and refrigerator.
On the ground floor there are three bedrooms and two bath/shower rooms.
The Master Bedroom has a double bed, large built-in wardrobe and a door to the bathroom. French windows lead from this bedroom to a patio with table and chairs.
Bedroom 2 is a large twin bedded room, again with built-in wardobe.
Bedroom 3 is a smaller twin room, with built-in wardobe
The bathroom, newly refurbished for 2010, has a bath with shower over, handbasin and WC. It has two doors, so can be used as common bathroom or ensuite to the master bedroom.
In addition there is a smaller shower room, also refurbished for 2010, and this has a shower cubicle, handbasin and WC.
The Lodge is ideal for families with small children, a travel cot, high chair and two stair gates are provided.
Our privately owned lodge affords you a comfortably furnished, clean and presentable holiday home, but if you looking for 'state of the art' decor and furnishings this property is not for you!

The lodge is simply but comfortably furnished and has central heating (radiators throughout, fed by electric boiler), and an immersion heater for hot water.
The lounge has a colour TV with Freeview, a DVD player, and a selection of books, DVDs and games.
The kitchen has a refrigerator with freezer compartment, a microwave oven, and an electric cooker with 4-ring hob, oven and separate grill. There is also an electric kettle, a toaster, a cafetiere and ample crockery, cutlery and cookware to cope with catering for all occupants.
There is ample parking just a few yards from the front door.
Activities
There are many walks from the lodge - Cotehele House and garden (National Trust), and Calstock, with its famous viaduct, are both about a half-hour's walk away. The coast, with its great beaches and coastal walks, is about a half hour drive, as is the Dartmoor National Park.
