‘The Bothy’ is what Cornish cottage holidays are all about. It is one of the nicest holiday cottages in Mid-Cornwall just 2 miles from The Eden Project. Set in the beautiful gardens of Poldurn, which are yours to use at your leisure. The cottage retains many of its original features. It is personally supervised by the owners and caters for six in three period styled bedrooms, one with its own en-suite shower room, the other two share a shower room. Fully fitted kitchen inc. dishwasher, cooker, microwave and fridge. Large dining table and comfortable sitting area with a TV, digi-box and DVD player. Just off the A391 yet away from the hustle and bustle that would spoil your peace.
The garden is yours to explore.
There is a gas Bar-be-cue beside the wooden picnic table.
There are various tables, seats and parasols around the garden for your use.
Feel free to explore up the ramp to ‘The Thicket’ and beyond. The Summer House can be used if you wish. Take care to keep to the footpaths as there are many bulbs and other plants set under the shrubs that can easily be trampled on unnoticed. The path is quite stony so good walking shoes are recommended. The path continues to a wooded area on an adjoining property where the owners are happy for you to walk and take in the view across to the Tors on Bodmin Moor. If you wish, arrangements can be made to unlock the green gate and you can wander up to the top of Carloggas Downs and take in the 360° panorama. Or you can circumnavigate the hill. Take care to close any gates you open as there are sheep and cattle around.
This viewpoint can also be reached by car for the less intrepid but the track is very uneven and can still be a bit of an adventure.

£100.00 deposit required to confirm booking. Balance within one calendar month of arrival.

Short Breaks:
Available from November to March for half the prices above. Monday 3:30pm to Friday 10:00am or Friday 3:30pm to Monday 10:00am. Maid service available if requested in advance. (email for rates)

£50.00 deposit required to confirm booking. Balance within one calendar month of arrival.

Credit card payments are accepted subject to a 3.6% surcharge to cover bank charges.
