Situated on the western side of Bartinney hill looking over the patchwork of farmland leading down to the cliffs and costal footpaths. Chy Gever has views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Scilly Isles you are 3 miles from the small market town of St Just.
St Just has a good range of shops including; bakers, butchers, grocers, pubs, a chemist and post office, Indian, Chinese and fish and chip take-aways, tea rooms and restaurants, as well as galleries, potteries and craft shops. The north Atlantic coast, designated an area of outstanding natural beauty and a world heritage site has breathtaking coastal and hill walks, beautiful beaches, amazing sunsets and is steeped in Cornish history. On a clear day the panoramic view from the top of Bartinney hill takes in St Michaels Mount, Mounts Bay, the Isles of Scilly, Lands End, Pendeen, the moors toward St Ives, the Lizard Penisular and St Austell clay workings to the east.
Chy Gevor sleeps 2+2 (there is no extra charge for use of the sofa bed by children under 16. For those over 16 there is a £25 per person surcharge)
A newly converted former granite goat house care has been taken to retain many of the beautiful features of this building including the warm honey coloured beams, slate roof and granite walls. Although no longer a working farm we still keep hens, cats and dogs. Horses and cattle graze in the fields either side of our private farm lane.The single storey accommodation comprises;
• Kitchen/Dining/Sitting room: An open plan bright and spacious kitchen, dining and living area with the original large wooden beams. A farmhouse table and 4 chairs and an extremely well equipped fitted kitchen offering dishwasher, oven and hob, microwave, fridge with small freezer compartment and washer dryer. Comfortable 2 seater sofa-bed, chairs, bookcase, coffee table and T.V. with DVD, CD player and a selection of books and board games and DVD’s to enjoy during your stay. The garden door leads to a gravelled courtyard which catches the morning sun and has a wooden table with chairs and views across heath and moorland.
• Bedroom. This comfortable carpeted double bedroom has three windows with views across the garden to farmland and the sea beyond, an orchard and moorland. The room has a double bed, bedside tables, wardrobe and a chest of drawers. Bed linen, duvets, pillows and towels are provided.
• Shower room Good sized shower cubicle, sink, toilet, lit bathroom cabinet, with shaver point, heated towel rail and under floor heating.
• Outside: Pretty & sunny gravelled courtyard with an abundance of flowers and plants. Wooden table and chairs and a barbeque.
• Parking: There is private parking for 1 car to the front of the property
A cot and high chair are available on request. The property has a private water supply, with the spring water filtered and sterilised using UV light

Tariff includes; electricity, linen, duvets, pillows and towels (4 hand towels and 4 bath towels). Extra sets can be made available on request at a charge of £2.50 per set.
A complimentary welcome pack of seasonal local produce will be awaiting your arrival. A shopping service for essentials is available on request.
Terms: 30% deposit on booking the balance to be paid 7 days before arrival Cash or a cheque.
Arrival after 3pm and departure before 11am.
Cancellation-We strongly recommend holiday insurance. This is particularly important should you be prevented from travelling for any reason. Please ensure that the chosen policy covers all forms of travel delay, including adverse weather conditions when travelling within the UK. If you need to cancel the booking after the balance is paid, we will endeavour to re-let the accommodation. (However if this proves impossible the deposit is non-refundable.)
