Situated on the western side of Bartinney hill looking over the patchwork of farmland leading down to the cliffs and costal footpaths. With views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Scilly Isles you are 3 miles from the small market town of St Just.
St Just has a good range of shops including; bakers, butchers, grocers, pubs, a chemist and post office, Indian, Chinese and fish and chip take-aways, tea rooms and restaurants, as well as galleries, potteries and craft shops. The north Atlantic coast, designated an area of outstanding natural beauty and a world heritage site has breathtaking coastal and hill walks, beautiful beaches, amazing sunsets and is steeped in Cornish history. On a clear day the panoramic view from the top of Bartinney hill takes in St Michaels Mount, Mounts Bay, the Isles of Scilly, Lands End, Pendeen, the moors toward St Ives, the Lizard Penisular and St Austell clay workings to the east.
Cape Cornwall Golf Course & Fishing Cove, and walks through Nanquidno & Cot Valleys two beaches covered with enormous egg shaped stones are all three miles away. The beautiful sandy beaches of Porthcurno; home to the famous Minack Theatre, Sennen Cove - a superb surfing beach with a surf school, and the quieter coves of Nanchizel, Lamorna and Penberth are all a short drive or cycle away.
Although no longer a working farm we still keep hens, cats and dogs. Horses and cattle graze in the fields either side of our private farm lane.
ACCOMMODATION -sleeps 4 (+2 there is no extra charge for use of the sofa bed by children under 16. For those over 16 there is a £25 per person surcharge.)
• Kitchen/Dining/Sitting room: Entrance hall leads on to open plan bright and spacious kitchen, dining and living room with the original large wooden beams. A farmhouse table and 4 chairs and an extremely well equipped fitted kitchen offering dishwasher, oven and hob, microwave, fridge with small freezer compartment and washer dryer. Sofa and armchairs, bookcase, coffee table and T.V. DVD, CD player and a selection of board games and children's DVD's to enjoy during your stay. The garden door leads onto decking which catches the morning sun and has a wooden table and 4 chairs (shaded by an awning in the summer).
• Master bedroom with en suite: Carpeted with a double bed, 2 bedside tables with lamps, wooden dressing table and wardrobe. Window with heather strewn moor-land and garden views. En suit: Sink. cabinet with light and shaver point, under sink cupboard and toilet.
• Bedroom 2: Carpeted with deep set window and a choice of ;
• double bed, or bunk beds,
It has bedside tables with lamps, a chest of drawers and wardrobe.
• Shower room: sink, toilet, lit bathroom cabinet with shaver point, heated towel rail and under floor heating.
• Outside: Pretty & sunny partially decked and lawned garden area with an abundance of flowers and plants. Wooden table and 4 chairs, garden bench and a gravelled area with a barbeque.
• Parking: There is private parking for 2 cars to the front of the property.
A cot and high chair are available on request. The property has a private water supply, with the spring water filtered and sterilised using UV light.

Tariff includes; electricity, linen, duvets, pillows and towels (4 hand towels and 4 bath towels). Extra sets can be made available on request at a charge of £2.50 per set. A shopping service for essentials is available on request.
Terms: £100 deposit on booking the balance to be paid 7 days before arrival Cash or a cheque.
Arrival after 3pm departure before 11am.
Cancellation-We strongly recommend holiday insurance. This is particularly important should you be prevented from travelling for any reason. If you need to cancel the booking after the balance is paid, we will endeavour to re-let the accommodation. (However if this proves impossible the deposit is non-refundable.)
