Set in a small farming hamlet, Rose Cottage is a traditional Cornish longhouse which has been successfully adapted to provide owner's accommodation and a two bedroom holiday home with garden and private parking.

The cottage has been restored combining modern facilities with the timeless character of exposed beams and a log burning stove.

Rose Cottage, on the National Trust owned Trencrom Hill is centrally situated between St Ives, Hayle and Penzance From the top of the Hill are breathtaking views to the South coast with St Michael's Mount in Penzance Bay, and to the North coast with Godrevey Lighthouse and St Ives Bay.

Pretty St Ives with its cobbled streets and beautiful beaches is just down the road and for those who want to tour around, the acclaimed Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, the spectacular open air Minnack Theatre and the Isles of Scilly are just a few of the delights a little further afield.

National Trust properties and gardens abound, and the countryside is a delight to explore on foot, by car or on horseback.

The character of the cottage has been retained with its white painted granite walls, beamed ceilings and old oak plank bedroom floors. The addition of central heating, a fitted kitchen, modern bathroom and cottage style furniture make this a charmingly comfortable holiday home.

Kitchen/living room: Fully fitted kitchen area with dishwasher, electric cooker, halogen hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, ample crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment. Pine dining table and chairs. A half glazed stable door to the conservatory style sun room, laundry room, patio and parking.

Sitting room: Two comfortable sofas, a wood burning stove, coffee tables, lamps, Freeview TV/video/DVD player, music centre, CDs/DVDs/videos, books and games. Half glazed stable door to front gardens and pond.

Garden: Large cottage garden with garden furniture. Visitors with children are warned to be especially careful if allowing them near the small wildlife pond in the front garden.

Main bedroom: King size bed, TV/video, beside tables, lamps, wardrobe, chest of drawers, dressing table and chair.

2nd bedroom: Two three foot beds, bedside table, lamps, wardrobe, chairs, chest of drawers.
cot available for baby or infant up to 18 months

Bathroom: Large bath with Mira power shower. Toilet, hand basin, electric shaver point, heated towel rail, airing cupboard with heater.

The rental price is fully inclusive - no hidden extras - and a welcome tray and bottle of wine will be waiting for you.

Rent per week - 3pm Saturday to 10am Saturday.
Inclusive of bed linen, towels, central heating,electricity, and hot water.
Please bring your own beach towels.
