The Anchorage is in the picturesque town of St. Ives, in the famous `downlong` part of the town, close to all 5 beaches, shops and retaurants. Many galleries including the Tate are also close by. 
The Anchorage is entered up some granite steps off of the most photographed cobbled street of Bunkers Hill. 
As you walk through the door the character of this 1730 bulit property is upon you with beam ceilings and quaint window seats. 
The cosy dining room with a breakfast bar hosts a large selection of cereals, yoghurts, juices, fruit and fruit and herbal teas. Cooked breakfasts using local produce is also very popular here. 
In reception there is a book case with a large selection of DVDs(as all rooms have TVs/DVDs with built in Freeview), 
there is also a large selection of books on local history, walks and surrouding areas. 
All 4 bedrooms have recently been re-decorated and have Tea/Coffee making facilities, also ther are hairdriers in the rooms. 3 of the rooms have en-suite with the 4th bedroom having its own private facilities opposite. 
Room 1 has fantastic sea views across the harbour over to the bay opposite. 
Room 3 is a large room with a spacious shower room. 
Room 4 is a small double/single with a new shower/toliet opposite. 
Room 2 has direct access off of Bunkers Hill and is a large double with a large bathroom.
