Merrymeet House is set in the peaceful rural hamlet of Trelill, just a shhort ditance from the beautiful North Cornwall Coast. It is a perfect hoiday retreat for families or groups of friends.Avilable to rent all the year round,the property offers high quality accomodation with a mixture of traditional and contemporary features, furnishings and art.It is a very comfortable and special place to stay.
There are many original victorian features including original slate floors and fire place.There is a log burning fire and a working 'Rayburn' oven. Downstairs,there are three sitting rooms, one with the log fire, a TV room(sky)and a quiet stting room with sofas. There is a dining area for seating eight people and a large,fully equipped kitchen.There is a utility roon and downstairs toilet.
Upstairs,there are four bedrooms, two doubles(one with an en suite bathroom and dressing room),and two twins. There is a large family bathroom with an oversized bath and seperate shower.
Outside there are pretty gardens and tranquil sitting areas for afternoon tea or al fresco dining.There are french doors that lead to a patio and herb garden. This leads to some steps to a large lawn and childrens play area, ideal for fun and games and sunbathing. There are a large variety of plants and shrubs giving colour all the year round.

There is off street parking and parking to the side of the house. North Cornwall is a beautiful area to visit with many and varied activities for the whole familiy. Nearby, Port Isaac is a historic fishing village 3 miles away where there a shops, pubs and restaurants. Padstow is a very attractive fishing port synonymous with gastronomy and the outlets of the chef Rick Stein. Boscastle, another picturesque fishing village has been beautufully restored following a flood. Tintagel has a ruined castle and has strong connections with the legend of King Arthur.For shopping, Wadebridge is the best local option. It is also home to the Royal Cornwall County show in June.
