- Travel Info: The town of Looe is situated around a small harbour and along the steep-sided valley of the River Looe which flows between East and West Looe to the sea beside a sandy beach.
The town of Looe lies only about 20 miles into South East Cornwall and is readily accessible via the Tamar Bridge and the A38. A branch line and railway station connects the town with the Penzance to Paddington line at Liskeard.
This Looe Valley Line is one of the most picturesque railways in the country. It opened in 1860 to serve the granite and copper mines of Bodmin Moor. The single track follows the valley of the East Looe River, passing four tiny intermediate stations before terminating beside the pretty tidal estuary. The property is a ten minute walk from the station.
