Your hosts John and Barbara, originally from the north west of England will welcome you with typical northern hospitality on your arrival at Greystone Pool, where there is plenty of secure parking space.

The non smoking accommodation consists of standard and ensuite rooms.

Standard double room facilities consist of wash basin, shaver point, remote TV, clock radio alarm, oscillating fan.

Standard Twin room facilities consist of wash basin, shaver point, remote TV, clock radio alarm, hospitality tray, oscillating fan.(Shared bathroom with Standard Double room)

Double/Family Ensuite room facilities consist of shower, vanity unit, toilet, remote Freeview TV with text, hospitality tray, oscillating fan.

Superior Ensuite facilities consist of shower, pedestal basin, toilet, remote Freeview TV with text, DVD-CD player, free DVD library selecttion, hospitality tray. This room is at ground level with independent access to the parking area.

Superior Suite facilities consist of bath/shower, vanity unit, toilet, remote Freeview TV with text, DVD-CD player, free DVD library selecttion, hospitality tray, lounge area with 2 seater leather settee and coffee table, This room is at ground level with independent access to the parking area.

All rooms have double glazing with lovely countryside views. The recently refurbished bathroom for use with standard accommodation has a large shower cubicle.

Arriving by train? John will be only to pleased to meet you at Looe station and chauffeur you to Greystone Pool inclusive in the cost of your accommodation. Return cost to be paid for less than 3 days stay.

Barbara's full English breakfast (see below) will set you up for a good days activity, of which there is plenty to see and do, both locally and farther a field.

Internet:- From April 2007 free wireless internet is available to all our residents. You are welcome to bring along your laptop and keep in touch with family and friends or your business.

Whatever your taste you will find Greystone Pool is the ideal base to explore Cornwall's host of attractions., especially the now world famous Eden Project a mere 20 minutes drive away.

Breakfast You may indulge yourself with Barbara's full English breakfast or take a simple lite breakfast consisting of :- Orange or apple or cranberry juice, cereal, fruit, toast, tea or fresh coffee. We time everything so that breakfast is cooked and served to you, rather than pre-cook and leave food on warmers. On your arrival, we will always enquire about your preferences, thereby assuring you that you are never served items that you dislike.

Greystone Pool is a family run bed & breakfast just minutes drive from Looe and even less from the famous old smuggling village of Polperro. Dependant on availability, there are standard (shared bathroom) and ensuite rooms. All the rooms are central heated with double glazing, are tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Standard rooms are equipped with hand basins, shaver points, Freeview TV, clock radio alarms and have country views. All ensuite rooms also have country views and are equipped with Freeview TV and our superior ensuites also have DVD-CD players. There is a large selection of movies available, at no extra charge. We are ideally situated to visit Cornwall's multitude of attractions. Just 20 minutes from the world famous Eden project.

Without a shadow of a doubt, you will find that we are ideally situated to visit Cornwall's multitude of attractions. There really is nowhere in Cornwall or for that matter Devon that is more than 90 to 100 minutes drive from us.
The world famous Eden Project is a mere 20 minute from Greystone Pool.
The south east coast path is just 5 minutes away.
A 30 minute drive takes you into Plymouth with it's National Aquarium, new shopping complex, night life, naval dockyard and famous Barbican. Not forgetting The Hoe where Nelson played bowls as the Spanish armada sailed up the channel.
Lanhydrock House is just one of many National Trust properties within very easy reach from Greystone Pool.
The North coast of Cornwall is a mere 60 minutes away, with Padstow, Tintagel, Port Isaac, Perranporth and Newquay.
Even less distance is wonderful Polruan 15 minutes and Fowey (home of the late Daphne Du Maurier) Polkerris beach & Charlestown dock.
