A spacious second floor apartment set within the prestigious Challenger Quay development. Part of the Port Pendennis Marina the apartment has superb views over the marina and Falmouth's famous harbour. The National Maritime Museum, one of Cornwall's major tourist attractions can be seen from the apartment.
The bustling streets of the town are minutes away with numerous cafes, restaurants, pubs and small shops. The local beaches are within easy reach, the nearest being a few minutes walk. All activities such as sailing, boat hire, diving, fishing are readily available. The local golf club which has stunning sea views is a 5 minute drive from the apartment.
Falmouth lies at the entrance to Carrick Roads,one of the great waterways and the third largest deep water natural harbour in the world. Sir Walter Raleigh first saw the potential for a port and Henry V111 realised its strategic importance building two castles on the headlands at the harbour entrance. Later the port became the base for the famous Falmouth Packet ships which carried mail and passengers to and from the Colonys.
Falmouth is renowned in the seafaring world with numerous sailing events starting and finishing here most recently Dame Ellen Macarthur and the 2008 Tall Ships. Falmouth hosts the Henri Lloyd sailing week and is hometo the Royal Cornwall Yacht Club. Harbourside events include the River Fal Festival and the Oyster Festival. Local pleasure craft can be taken to the River Fal, the city of Truro and the Helford River visiting Frenchmans Creek made famous by Daphne Du Maurier. Local ferries can be caught to the village of Flushing and the harbour side town of St Mawes.

Boat hire, sailing lessons, fishing trips wild life safaris and golf are all readily available. Falmouth is home to the National Maritime Museum which can be seen from the apartment. There are three local beaches in Falmouth, all south facing and extremely safe.
