On entering through the bespoke double doors you are into the main entrance hall with large natural stone tiles and underfloor heating covering the whole ground floor.  
An open oak and glass staircase with sparkly blue LED lighting takes you up to the stylish open planned lounge and kitchen with panoramic views, high vaulted ceilings, oak beams and wide oak floorboards. 
The luxury kitchen is fully equipped with high quality miele appliances and quartz worktops. Completing the picture are comfy sofas surrounding a large contemporary woodburning stove, 42" lcd, dvd, sky and cd/ ipod dock creating a warm and cosy atmosphere. Bring the outside in with the large glass bi-fold doors opening out to the patio and private garden. Perfect for romantic evenings watching the sun go down with a glass of wine..... 
 
Three large well appointed bedrooms two on the ground floor both with en-suite bathrooms and double size walk in showers.. Master bedroom has king size bed and patio doors which open out to sun terrace and seating area. 
Second bedroom has king size bed and a single bed.. Third bedroom is upstairs with king size bed next to family size bathroom with deep bath and cascade tap, including drencher shower, heated towel rail and all tiled in natural stone. All bedrooms are beautifully decorated with egyption cotton linen, co-ordinating accessories and 22"lcds. 
All bed linen and towels are provided. 
 
On colder days enjoy collecting the logs from the nearby woodshed and lighting the woodburner. 
 
We also know what its like to be a parent on holiday so we can help you with providing some of the essentials : cot, high chair,booster seat, stairgate, hand blender, plastic bowls, cutlery, bugaboo or Mclaren pram, small toy box and some outdoor toys for the younger members of the family...... leaving you extra space in your car ! 
 
Outside is a large and secure garden with landscaped flower beds, teak patio furiture, bbq, loungers and a 
large store shed full of games and toys and plenty of room for bikes, surf boards and golf clubs. 
 
The Hay Loft is in a great location only a short distance from the pretty little village of Marhamchurch with its shop, post office and family pub and restaurant serving evening meals and Sunday carvaries. Nearby is the idylic seaside town of Bude which is extremly popular it has many shops, restaurants and two supermarkets.  
Less than 10 minutes drive from the Hayloft is several fabulous beaches including Widemouth Bay, Summerleaze, and Crooklets all boasting great surf and amazing coastline. 
 
Christmas is also a great time to stay in The Hayloft, we like to make the event special by putting up a beautiful tree covered in white fairy lights, sparkly baubles and all the trimmings plus a christmas hamper to make it a really special holiday.

The surrounding landscape, so diverse and stunning in every aspect, the miles and miles of golden sandy beaches the compact and bijoux town centre with so many different things on offer at the locally owned shops and restaurants, and the friendly and welcoming atmosphere - all contribute to Bude being special. 
 
WHATS ON OFFER --- Bude is famous for its surfing and water sports and historically for having the Bude Canal with working sea lock. Boats can be hired on Bude canal and there is windsurfing, sailing, kayaking at lower Tamer Lakes. There is a leisure complex with swimming pool, bowling and indoor play facilities. Horse riding, tennis, surfing, Golf courses at Bude and nearby Holsworthy and St Enadoc.
