Hillcroft House is a modern well appointed property in a picturesque Elizabethan Harbour .It is idealy located to explore the dramatic and breathtaking cornish coastline.With spaceous rooms and all modern amenities,it provides the ideal base for a relaxing holiday.The secluded garden with its swimming pool,terrace,barbeque area and lawn are an added bonus after a long day on the beach or exploring Cornwalls famous attractions. Hillcroft is a 5 min walk to the North West Cornish coastal path, an area of outstanding beauty.It's a 10 minute walk down to the harbour and the beautiful Valency Valley,with it,s fast flowing river and nearby waterfalls.Some of the best known surfing beaches are a short drive away for example Polzeath,Rock,Fistral and widemouth bay.Kayaking and surfing Equipment may be hired locally,and there are regular fishing trips which can be booked from the harbour.Inland ,the famous Camel trail may be enjoyed by foot or by bicycle.
For those that enjoy excellent food,Rick Stein and Jamie Oliver have famous restaurants within easy reach and there are many other excellent local eateries specialising in traditional Cornish Dishes.
Ground floor; Toilet,Hallway leading to large Lounge with wood burner.Kitchen with gas range and double oven,fully equipped with modern appliances.Utility room with fridge freezer and washing machine.Dining room seats 8.
First floor; Bed 1:Kingsize Bedroom. Bed 2:Double Bed. Bed 3:Twin Beds.There are a further 2 Z-Beds which can be accommodated on the first floor.Large bathroom with corner bath and shower,toilet and bidet.
Facilities
Bed Linen and towels are provided.There is a washing machine and clothesline for your convenience,however a linen service is available at an extra cost.Babysitting and maid services are available on request. A selection of DVDs,Videos,CD's and board games are available.WiFi facilities are on hand for those wishing to bring their laptops. The swimming pool is open from the may bankholiday through to the end of september. The pool is cleaned and checked on a daily basis and is for the private use of the let.Access to the pool is at the descretion of the guests who will be supplied with a key for parental control of young children. A brick barbeque is located in the garden by the lawn area.There is garden furniture for dining alfresco. A wendy house by the pool,doubles as a changing room and play house for younger children. There are local shops and supermarkets.Directions are provided in the welcome pack.
Activities
All the actvities listed above may be booked for you along with any equipment to hire eg;surf boards,Kayaks,Bikes .
Special events will be advertised in the let along with brochures and maps.
Hillcroft House will be decorated with festive decorations,lights and christmas tree over the christmas and New Year Period.Details of christmas and New Year events will be available.

A Deposit will be required to confirm the booking. This will be 50% of the total cost,and will be non refundable.The balance of the payment will be required one calendar month prior to the date of arrival.A written receipt will be sent following bank clearance of each payment. Payment of monies will be by cheque,Bankers draft,Building society cheque or post office postal order. Changeover day is Friday unless by prior arrangement. Weekend/Short lets are available out of season on request. Guests may arrive from 3pm and leave the property by 10am on the day of departure.
