Vacation Rental Description
The building is 200 years old, and listed. We are a family run business....both us and the decor could possibly be best decribed as slightly eccentric. Our rooms are reasonably priced and comfortable, but not brash. Each room has a shower/fridge/dvd player/freesat/kettle/washbasin, and most have a microwave. Smokers are welcome, and small , housetrained pets for a small charge....Housetrained Contractor's are also welcome at a reduced rate. We overlook the beach. Nearby is a leisure centre with indoor pool, night club, crazy golf and Theatre Royal, Winter Gardens and Margate High Street. A short car/bus ride away is the ever expanding Westwood Cross shopping center, complete with Casino Hall, and ten screen cinema. Ramsgate and Broadstairs are a few miles away, and Canterbury is about 16 miles from here. Breakfast and dinner are available, and optional by prior arrangement. Manston Airport is about four miles away. 
 
Dover is about an hour away by car, and therefore we are quite well placed for the ferry travellers amongst you. Folkestone is approximately an hour and a half by car. 
 
Margate train station is across the road from us.

    • Most of our rooms have a microwave. We can do your washing if you are here for any length of time, and we make a charge per washload....irons and ironing boards are supplied. Parking outside the house is limited, but there are car parks close by.

    • Many outdoor activities can be undertaken as we have close access to the sea/beach. The gym is at Westwood Cross, but the Leisure Centre a short walk away has some facilities available at a reasonable price.

    Our prices vary, but an average would be £25.00 per person a night for bed and breakfast. Contractors and children are charged less. A deposit of 10% is usually charged on bookings, and is non-refundable in the event of cancellation, but is sometimes waived under certain circumstances. We accept most cards and cash on arrival.
