Hopgarden House is a spacious contemporary townhouse set in a superb rural location over looking fields and is a 10 minute walk to the centre of the village. We offer our guests all the luxury and comforts to make their stay, short or long extra special. There are 4 bedrooms, 3 doubles and 1 single, accommodating up to 6-7 guests, 2 en-suite bathrooms, family bathroom, large fully equipped kitchen/breakfast room. There is a very comfortable first floor lounge overlooking fields, a further lounge with dining area on the ground floor with double doors leading out to the patio garden with BBQ. All linen and towels are provided. The village has a grocery store, bakery, butchers and hairdresser. There are several country pubs/Inns, the Brown Trout with log burning fire, if you fish there is certainly a story to be told at this pub, the Swan a bistro pub, La Dolci Vita with fine Italian food and Lamberhurst Vineyard with bistro restaurant and wine tasting are all within walking distance.

    • There are many interesting places to visit, Bewl Water is a mile away for walking, biking, trout fishing, canoeing, wind surfing & sailing. For walkers and nature lovers there is a public footpath a few yards from the front door leading into the surrounding countryside. Lamberhurst Vineyard, and Scotney Castle are only 10 minutes away. Close to castles, stately homes and gardens, fishing lakes, water sports, cycling and walking routes and many other attractions. We are located 6 miles from the elegant Georgian Spa town of Royal Tunbridge Wells with its impressive shopping facilities, Chartwell, the home of Winston Churchill is a 30 minute drive. If you have a car Sissinhurst castle, Hever Castle, Squerryes Court, Ightham Mote, Knole, Emmetts Gardens and The Hop Farm is a 35 minute drive, Only 25 minutes from the historic towns of Battle, Hastings and 1066 country. Close to all major routes to London and cross channel routes to Europe.

    Full payment required at time of booking your reservation if it is less than 30 days until your arrival. If you are booking farther ahead, a 50% deposit is required at time of booking, with balance due 30 days prior to arrival. Payment can be made with Master Card, Visa or American Express, bank transfer or personal cheque drawn on UK banks. If you need to cancel please do so as soon as possible. We will refund your deposit, less a £50 cancellation fee if you let us know 30 or more days before your arrival date. With less than 30 days notice, but more than 10 days notice, we will refund 50% of your deposit. Sorry, but with less than 10 days notice of cancellation, we are unlikely to book your room - so there is no refund for such short notice cancellations. We strongly suggest you consider trip cancellation insurance to cover your losses in the event of unforeseen changes to your plans. Central heating is Gas and is metered.
