Situated at the south end of Edenbridge, Shoscombe backs on to accessible fields with riverside walking.
All bedrooms have tea & coffee making facilities, and also a television receiver with DVD player. There is a non-smoking policy in the house, but visitors are welcome to smoke in the garden.
Edenbridge is a small town in West Kent lying on the borders with Surrey and Sussex. There are a wealth of historical attractions within a few minutes drive including, Hever Castle home of Anne Boleyn, Chiddingstone Castle, and Penshurst Place, just a few of the nearby attractions.
Additionally, it is surrounded by many National Trust properties, for example, Chartwell home of Sir Winston Churchill and Scotney castle where Margaret Thatcher once had accommodation.
We are also within 20 minutes drive of Sevenoaks which lost some of its 7 oaks in the hurricane of 1987 and 30 minutes of Tunbridge Wells, the picuresque Victorian spa town with its Pantiles.
We are within 45 minutes drive from the coast including Brighton with its "Lanes" and 25 minutes from Gatwick Airport. Trains from Sevenoaks take approximately 45 minutes to Central London.
