Vacation Rental Description
This light and inviting seaside family holiday house is situated in a peaceful cul-de-sac location less than five minutes easy walk to Broadstairs High Street and the beaches. A perfect sea-side location.
The house has plenty of space in which to relax in comfort, together with ample storage and a well equiped kitchen. You can store bicycles and beach equipment in the large shed in the garden and golf clubs under the stairs. Most usefully there is an upstairs bathroom as well as a separate large downstairs shower/WC and facilities for eating both in the kitchen and in the dining area of the living room. There is full gas central heating, double glazing, digital TV's in the living room and main bedroom and a digital box to provide your favourite freeview channels. There is a collection of books, some games and DVDs for the adults as well as some videos and toys for the children.
The pretyy enclosed private rear garden is west facing and there are chairs, a sun shade and some beach items in the large shed. Conveniently given it's central parking there is off street parking for one vehicle just outside the front of the house and further parking on the street nearby.
Children are most welcome. We have a cot and highchair if needed and Broadstairs is perfectly suited for all ages. We request no pets and no smoking.
We are registered with the local tourist board and have been awarded a 3 star rating under the Visit Britain Quality Assessment Scheme.
Broadstairs is a traditional English seaside town with a good variety of independent retailers, together with many fabulous ice-cream parlours, restaurants, pubs, cafes and bars. There are lovely gardens and a bandstand overlooking the main viking Bay beach to which there is a lift to provide easy access to those who need. The beach is sandy, sheltered and ideally suited to children. There are traditional beach activities running on the beach during the summer months with inclue trampolines, a helta scelta, and a daily Puch and Judy show. A promenade offers scenic coastal walks to adjacent bays and beaches while the cafes and restaurants overlooking the bay have lots of sitting out areas where you can enjoy the best italian coffee and ice cream.
Great Golf courses include the famous Sandwich Bay course - but try some of the more local courses wich are all very good.
