The house was built in 1600 and is set in the oldest part of the City, in much photographed Lombard Street, just off the High Street, where St Thomas's Cathedral is situated. It is a quiet and picturesque area and you will be treated to a sumptuous Full English Breakfast served in the old beamed (from old ships) Nelsonian dining room. which is a museum in itself. Your hosts are historians and can provide you with as much information as you wish to know...! (They were also the official 'Nelson' and 'Emma' in the 2005 Trafalgar Commemorations)
Within easy walking distance of the Historic Dockyard, University buildings, Isle of Wight Ferry, St Thomas's Cathedral, Gunwharf Quays, (and numerous restaurants) and historic waterfront and beaches.

We offer a "home from home" to travellers from across the Globe with many returning guests each year.
