My Brother and myself really enjoyed our stay at Lundy Cottage. There wasn’t a thing that you didn’t think of to make everything so enjoyable (including weather).
"Owner reply:- Mrs Fitt visited Eastbourne in April to see where she had booked her June holiday, and was so thrilled she is now a neighbour, opposite Cromarty Cottage! She used her time in our Lundy Cottage to prepare her new acquisition."

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay; the bungalow is lovely with all the comforts of home. The site is nice and quiet. We were met by Valerie, a very nice lady. We would not hesitate to use the bungalow again when down this way and would definitely recommend to friends and family. Thank you!

We have had an enjoyable holiday. The cottage was perfect in every way. Val was most helpful. Double three dominoes missing. (Replaced Stewart).
Mrs East hired a mobility scooter and we arranged for it to be available on their arrival. Lundy cottage also has an external electric socket useful for re-charging scooters.
July 2011 Mr East has re-booked for 2012.

It was perfect, it suits all our needs. Good location for sightseeing, eating out & shopping. Especially good for whizzing about on a mobility scooter, lots of walks for the dog + our daily fix of ice cream. Everyone is very friendly & helpful. A lovely holiday. Thanks very much.

Lovely cottage. Everything one might need is here. Instructions for central heating would have been helpful (Cold first few mornings). Also for TV – when blue light is on on box, it is off!
Very comfortable. Val was a diamond. Nothing too much trouble.
"Owner -reply:- Thank you, a new book has been supplied detailing all operating instructions including washing machine, cooker and games computer. Yes the satellite receiver light is a bit of a mystery".

Our first holiday with our son and we don’t think we could have picked anywhere better. Thanks.
We have had a really lovely week, the cottage is decorated and equipped to a high standard. A quiet setting yet amenities so close by. We did miss not having a bread bin in the cottage and found the seagulls did not like our dog!
Ideas for improvement: Clearer directions off A22, Information on electric meter and sheet on where to turn shower on. –

Very clean – Very calm – Very welcoming. Tremendously baby friendly cottage. One small suggestion is for blackout blinds in the 2nd bedroom --- for the early mornings in summer. Thank you for a great holiday!

The cottage was fitted out to a very high standard with stylish decor, modern appliances and excellent kitchen facilities to create a comfortable and relaxing ambiance. Everything you needed was at your finger tips and all great quality stuff. This was the perfect base for a really varied holiday.
We caught the train from Eastbourne to London for a day - hassle free and post midnight return :-), went mountain biking and walking on the South Downs which are on the doorstep and enjoyed the Mediterranean feel of Sovereign Harbour (about 10 mins walk away)... bars and restaurants with loads of waterfront outdoor seating and a real holiday atmosphere. And the best thing was Eastbourne was about the only place in the country to have sunshine over Easter!!!
