Rising like fairy-tale turrets throughout Kent and Sussex, the British oast is a well-loved feature of the countryside that happens to make a great home too. Our Oast Annexe sleeps 2 adults and can also accommodate 2 small children on a sofa bed. It has a large living area, modern stone bathroom and full kitchen facilities. The floors are oak boarded and both the bedroom and living room have large glass double doors which open onto the garden.
The historic market town of Battle is a 7 minute drive away. The property is in a quiet location with beautiful views over the countryside and includes a lawn area, ideal for barbecues.

Activities
Coast/Beach: Beaches at Eastbourne, Bexhill-on-Sea and Hastings are about 15 to 20 minutes drive. The sandy beach at Camber is 25 -30 minutes drive. These beaches are also popular with kite flyers and surfers.
Golf: Sedlescombe Golf Club (10 minutes drive) offers excellent golf, hotel and conference facilities for the golfer and non golfer alike. The parkland golf course measures 6269 yards and with a variety of obstacles including ponds and deep fairway bunkers, provides an enjoyable challenge to golfers of all abilities. Sedlescombe also features a par 3 course, which far from being a simple pitch and putt, maintains the difficulty of the main course with holes measuring up to 176 yards from tee to green. Wellshurst golf course (20 minutes Drive) covers 150 acres with beautiful views over the South Downs. Also other courses at Eastbourne, Rye and other Wealden areas.
