St. Andrew’s Church, which is set on the hillside overlooking the village, is about 5 minutes walk from the cottage. Nearby is the Elizabethan Manor House at Breamore, whilst the medieval Cathedral city of Salisbury with its historic buildings, shops and restaurants is 20 minutes by car. Fly fishing is available at the well-known Rockbourne Trout Fishery. Golf and horse riding are also within easy reach and the coast can be reached in 30 minutes.
