Emsdorf Place is situated in the quiet, picturesque village of Lundin Links, located only ten miles from St Andrews. Golf in walking proximity includes the OPEN qualifying courses of Lundin Links & Leven Bank; with others (Elie, Anstruther, Crail, Kingsbarns, and St Andrews) located between four and ten miles.

Newly renovated for summer 2008 this 2-bedroomed upper flat (c1800) offers well-proportioned, comfortable accommodation for 4/6 people with a view of the Firth of Forth from the lounge.

Amenities (groceries, butcher, fishmonger, hairdresser, post office, shops, beach, pubs and restaurants) are within leisurely walking distance (3 Minutes).

This delightfully-presented, bright accommodation forms the upper level of a former weaver's cottage which dates to the early 1800's. Totally refurbished in 2007 the accommodation incorporates a blend of the modern and traditional: an open concept lounge / kitchen; modern lighting; an Edwardian gas fireplace; alongside the conveniences of a fan assisted oven, gas hob, and dishwasher.

Lower Largo (the birthplace of Robinson Crusoe), the beach and access to the Fife Coastal Path linking the East Neuk's many popular seaside villages is only a few minutes walk from the property, with access to numerous other local walking routes including Largo Law within easy reach.

Fresh fish can be purchased locally throughout the year (Live lobster / crab can also be purchased at reasonable rates at most times. Please enquire.) Popular local activities include fishing and sailing in Lower Largo. A modern indoor swimming facility complete with a wave pool and slides is located nearby in Leven town centre along the esplanade.

Windsurfing, paddle boats, and sailing are available during the summer months in Elie, 4 miles.

There is a well-appointed RSPB nature centre overlooking Loch Leven at Vane Farm. The centre has an observation room, a nature trail, and a hide by the shore overlooking a bird-watching “scrape” (a shallow pool).

Thousands of pink-footed geese arrive here in autumn. Large numbers breeding or over-wintering duck, geese, and whooper swans are on the loch, while the surrounding wet fields have breeding snipe, redshank, and lapwing.

Dundee and Scotland's capital city, Edinburgh, are easily reached being around 40 minutes distant by car

The architectural features, amenities and historic sites of Edinburgh are too numerous to list while the annual Military Tattoo in Edinburgh Castle Esplanade, and the Edinburgh Festival attract visitors from all over the world.

1/2 rate charges apply for each person above the 4 person occupancy, e.g., Jan £245 based on 4 people equates to £8.75 pp/pn. The daily rate for a 5th person would be £4.38 per day making the weekly rate £275

Lets are Saturday - Saturday. Check in time is 4:00 PM and departures at 10:00 AM unless by special arrangement.
