Having started in the eighteenth century as a popular coaching inn on the main route north from Edinburgh the family owned Green Hotel has retained its reputation for warm hospitality and excellent service. The hotel boasts two 18-hole golf courses, a 4-sheet curling rink and trout fishing on Loch Leven. 
 
Dine in style in the award-winning Basil’s Restaurant. An elegant setting in which to enjoy our varied menus that feature a subtle blend of Modern International cuisine with some Scottish influences. Our Head Chef Gerard Lee will offer you some mouth-watering delights. Choose from a sumptuous array of dishes specially prepared using fine local produce on our two and three course table d'hote menu or for something a bit more special select one of our delicious a la carte treats. The Courtyard Lounge Bar, adjacent to Basil's, serves coffees and light snacks throughout the day and is the ideal place to meet for pre-dinner drinks or to relax with a liqueur or a malt whisky after dinner. 
 
Jock’s Bar offers a fine selection of traditional fayre in a relaxed atmosphere from hot and cold snacks to filling bar lunches and suppers, cooked on the premises using ingredients which constitute some of Perthshire's freshest and finest. From traditional beers, a crisp chardonnay to a ruby red or perhaps one of the specially selected malts from our wide range of spirits, you'll be sure of a friendly welcome in Jock's Bar.  
 
Just across the road at our sister hotel, you'll find Gravity Health & Leisure Club. Facilities include an indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi and sun shower. Get better results on the latest equipment in the gymnasium - over 26 ‘Star Trac’ pieces of equipment many with TV and iPod docking stations and a free weights and resistance weights area. Guests staying at The Green Hotel have complimentary access. Beauty treatments are also available and should be booked in advance. Charges apply for sun shower and beauty treatments. We also have a 4 sheet curling rink which can be used from September through April. 
 
The Shop at the Green offers something for everyone. We stock a large and varied selection of clothes to suit all occasions. To compliment the clothes, there are spectacular hats and accessories. The Shop is an Aladdin"s Cave for unique and original gifts and cards.  
 
The two highly regarded 18-hole golf courses lie in beautiful, un-spoilt parkland bordering Loch Leven. Undulating greens, streams, ponds and enticing tree-lined fairways provide a challenging activity to both low and high handicap golfers alike. The Montgomery and the Bruce are laid out to be a challenge to the good player, while at the same time providing fun and enjoyment for the holiday golfer and those on a club or group outing.  
 
The hotel lies in a quiet corner of the small country town of Kinross, which has many historic connections with Scotland’s glorious past. With Loch Leven and the bordering hills it is an idyllic place to escape. Our extensive garden features a courtyard with ornamental fountain, a putting green, tennis courts, croquet lawn and many beautiful trees, shrubs and colourful flower beds. The Green has convenient access to the M90 Motorway, making it within an easy hour's drive of Perth, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling, Dundee and gateway to Fife – the home of golf.

All 46 bedrooms are en suite with hairdryer, hospitality tray, trouser press and complimentary toiletries. Restaurant available for breakfast and dinner and two Bars serving hot and cod drinks as well as bar meals and snacks available from 10.00am to 10.00pm daily. There are two 18-hole Golf Courses – The Montgomery and The Bruce - Both courses are deemed by many to be amongst Scotland’s hidden gems. Visiting golfers, clubs and societies are very welcome and tee times can be reserved at weekends as well as weekdays. Special discounted green fees are available for Green Hotel residents or why not take advantage of our special golf breaks.  
 
Our four sheet curling rink you can learn the "Roaring Game". Why not come and play or see how to do it? The rink is open September – April, 7 days per week. Coaching available for beginners and improvers. 
 
We are very close to some excellent outdoor activity centres. If you'd like to try clay pigeon shooting or off-road quad biking while on vacation, have a look at our activities area. For the adventurous amongst you, we can arrange a wide variety of outdoor activities from archery to quad biking and falconry to off-road driving all nearby.

Rates fluctuate depending on demand. Prices are 'from' on a per room, per night basis and include bed and full Scottish breakfast for two guests sharing. Dinner inclusive rates are also available. Deposit of £30 per room, per night required.
