The area offers everything from wonderful gardens, castles, whisky distilleries, great shopping for antiques, cashmeres and Scottish specialities, entertainment from a ceilidh to a classical concert, and a fine base for your family history research. A golfer's paradise with a 9-Hole golf course at Dunning, an 18-hole course 2 miles, and the world acclaimed Gleneagles Golf Courses 7 miles, there are 41 courses in Perthshire.

The Tower House has kitchen dining sitting room on the ground floor (originally a Lady Chapel) and a steep stone spiral staircase leads to a bedroom and bathroom. The bedroom features painted cherubs on the ceiling. The furnishing fabrics used are in tartan and tweed and Scottish made. Stone flying angels hold up the kitchen ceiling which also features a stained glass window. In the knave of the chapel guests can play badminton and table tennis.

Visitors frequently enjoy trips to Stirling and the Trossachs, Royal Deeside, Dundee, City of the Discovery, the Fife and its fishing villages, Inverness and Glencoe, as well as visiting the local attractions that include distilleries, gardens, castles, Highland Games, ancestry research, ancient monuments.

St Andrews, Home of Golf, is around an hour's drive and it has superb beaches for walking. Visit castles, gardens, walk, golf and sight see in this glorious, scenic part of Perthshire. Stirling Castle is around 30 mintues away and the Tullibardine and Famous Grouse distilleries are local. Visit Scone Palace near Perth, ancient crowning place of the Kings of Scotland, a Race Course, Blair Castle, Glamis Castle. There are glorioius gardens in Perthshire, lots of good walking and an excellent theatre in Pitlochry and the Horsecross Concert Hall in Perth. 
 
Our central Perthshire location makes us popular with visitors. No matter which direction you choose, you will find variety, magnificent scenery and many things to see and do. The Tower House is one of the most unusual holiday apartments you are ever likely to stay in; surrounded by as much of the original stone work and stained glass window that could be retained, the interior is decorated with tweeds and tartans and everything has been done to make the apartment as comfortable as possible. There is no Broadband connection in our 19th century chapel but we can offer Internet Broadband in our holiday cottage office nearby.

From the Tower House you can walk at Duncrub Park. There are a number of very good walks in the area. Walk from the doorstep by taking the much-enjoyed local walk to the village via the south drive and back via the road and the north drive - this is a brisk 35 minutes'walk. In Tower House you will find a list of local walks, booklets with Perthshire walks, and we have a selection of Ordinance Survey maps that may be borrowed for walks further afield.

Bookings may be made online using our secure server. There is a currency converter to help you. 25% of the total amount due is paid on confirmation of the booking, the balance is due 31 days prior to the start of the holiday. Prices vary to reflect the time of year and short breaks of 2 nights cost 60% of the weekly total, additional nights at 10% of the weekly total. There's a 10% discount on a second week booked and late availbility discounts for that last minute break. Major credit cards, cheques in sterling, and Bank transfers accepted.
