Tarbert, the main town on the Isle of Harris, is situated just a short drive away (approx 3 miles) and offers thre following:

- Local shops with many charming gifts including world famous Harris Tweed

The Isle of Harris and adjoining Isle of Lewis offer many interesting historical sights such as Rodel Church, Calanish Stones and the Carloway Broch.

Electricity by £1 coin meter.
Heating is all-electric throughout.

Taobh Na Mara is ideally situated for access to the mountains of North Harris and their guardian golden eagles, Explore the hills laiden with flora and fauna by foot or bike. The world famous west coast beaches offer silver sands and the renowned machair of wild flowers, just a short drive away The cottage has its own private jetty with a motorboat available for lobster and sea fishing.

Low Season Price : £320
High Season Price : £605 per Week

2008 Rates:

April + Oct: £320 pw, cottage only (£410 pw including use of boat).
May + Sept: £370 pw, cottage only (£495 pw including use of boat).
Jun: £475 pw, cottage only (£590 pw including use of boat).
July + Aug: £490 pw, cottage only (£605 pw including use of boat).

Payment is required in full, by cheque, one month prior to arrival.
