2 Bedroom Cottage in St Andrews

Garden Cottage is a lovely peaceful place in which to enjoy the Fife countryside. It has 2 bedrooms, a sitting room, dining-room, kitchen, bathroom and separate toilet. It has been sensitively refurbished, but still retains many traditional features, such as an open fire in the sitting room, and sloping ceilings in the bedrooms. It has full central heating for the cooler times of the year. It is set on our estate,Kinloss Estate, with views over our pond, which is visited by many different species of animal and bird. The regulars are our ducks - 32 at the moment - and Harry the Heron. We have spotted a sea eagle and a sparrow hawk recently too. Very occasionally otters appear, and less welcome, the odd fox. Our new tennis court is about 100 yards from the cottage, and is available for use by our guests, by arrangement. The cottage also has free wi-fi internet access for guests to use.It is an idyllic, peaceful setting and an ideal base from which to explore historic Fife or to enjoy its many golf courses. Fife has some of the most lovely beaches in Scotland.  
The sitting room is comfortable and cosy, with large sofas. It has a television with free to air satellite channels, and a DVD player. The kitchen has windows to front and rear, to maximise the views. 
Bedroom one has a double bed. 
Bedroom 2 has twin beds. All beds are hand made, using our own home grown timber.  
The kitchen is well equipped with an electric hob and oven, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine with tumble dryer, and microwave. It has an adjacent larder. The kitchen overlooks woodland, which is regularly visited by wild deer. 
Towels, bedlinen and table linen are all provided. For two week lets there is maid service and change of all linen on the middle Saturday.
