Situated just north of the city of Inverness, the Black Isle with its combination of woodland, farmland and a wild coastline of beaches and cliffs is a popular holiday destination.
Within easy reach of Dava are the towns of Dingwall and Inverness, the Capital City of the Highlands with its hundreds of shops, cinema, theatre and many excellent restaurants and cafes is only twenty minutes away.
There are dolphins, seals birds, including red kites. There are many places of historical interest,and within easy reach are the castles of Dunrobin, Cawdor, Urquhart, Brodie and Eilean Donan, where the Film ‘Highlander’ was filmed.
For those interested in golf, riding, biking, sailing, angling and, of course, walking this is an ideal location.
The Cairngorms are just to the South, the West Coast is only an hour away and the Sutherland Mountains boasting Ben Wyvis are just to the North.

The ground floor accommodation comprises of a large, well-equipped kitchen/dining room (including an oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer), the twin bedroom, a shower room/wc and a utility room (with a washing machine, tumble dryer and large, suspended drying rack).
Upstairs there is a double bedroom with a full bathroom en-suite and the sitting room with magnificent views over the Cromarty Firth and the mountains beyond.
There is a flat-screen TV, Free-Sat Sky-Plus, HDD, DVD, VHS players and a music system, as well as wireless broadband Internet.
There is a small shop in Culbokie, a Tesco at Dingwall. We will provide salt, pepper, sugar, instant coffee, teabags and a pint of milk upon your arrival. You will also find washing-up liquid, dishwasher tablets, washing powder, hand soap and toilet paper.
Your beds will be made and towels will be provided.
